Bounce 2006 Review
Bounce is the hottest dance Xpression in the country. This annual event lays claim to some of the most dynamic, cutting edge dance groups in the nation, as they compete and perform to a house stacked with dance hungry fans. In just over 2 years Bounce has become the largest Hip Hop Competition in the South Island of NZ. This is the calendar event of the year not to be missed!
More than 2000 people turned up for the Saturday night event, with hundreds being turned away at the gate due to already exceeding the maximum capacity of the facility. This event in 2006 featured NZ's No#1 and World #2 Hip Hop Group (Dziah) as they took it live to the floor in front of pack house with standing room only. Overall the day and night was filled with dance crew battles , Intermediate, High School and Open Crew competition and a top quality Showcase featuring dance and impressive multimedia.
2007 Bigger and Better
Bounce 07 Hip Hop Championship in SEPTEMBER 14-15th is the biggest Hip Hop, Krump and Break-dance SHOWDOWN in the South and set to be an outstanding event!! We have already had an amazing response from Christchurch schools, studios and open crews expressing interest in this years competition.
Special guest crew, Triple8funk (NZ's #1 and current world #5) will be performing on two nights. Bounce not only showcases some of the best Hip Hop crews in the nation but is an event that has impressive multimedia presentation and is professionally organized creating a dynamic action packed night not to be missed!! This event is perfect for the whole family.
