Just Kids Community PreSchool Profile Books

Profile Books
The profile book will provide an accurate record of your child’s learning and development while they are at Just Kids Community PreSchool.  Samples of your child’s work as well as records of their participation in the programme will be kept in this book to share with you. Your child will also be involved in the development of their profile book.

Each child’s profile is assigned to a teacher for their time at Just Kids.  This staff member will communicate with you in regards to goals and development for your child. All profile books are kept in a box in your child’s area of the pre-school. This means that you will be able to view your child’s book whenever you choose. 

Profiles can also be taken home but we ask that you inform the teacher responsible for the profile prior to doing so. The teachers will often take the profile books home to work on so if you are unable to find your child’s profile please see one of our teachers.

We may use your child’s profile as an example for visiting parents, other staff and the Ministry of Education.  If you do not wish your child’s profile to be freely accessible then please let our staff know when you are at the Centre.
